At Xotiv, our team designed and developed a digital platform that enables landlords to list and manage their properties for telecom infrastructure deployment, while allowing operators to evaluate, verify, and approve sites efficiently. The solution focuses on accurate location data capture, site validation workflows, and seamless collaboration between landlords and operators.
The platform centralizes critical site attributes such as latitude, longitude, elevation, and structure height, enabling informed decision-making for tower installations. Built for scalability and performance, the solution supports data-driven evaluation and approval of sites for telecom infrastructure expansion.
Client’s Overview
Telecom infrastructure expansion depends heavily on identifying suitable land parcels that meet technical and regulatory requirements. Traditionally, this process involves manual coordination, incomplete data sharing, and limited visibility for both landlords and operators.
Our client envisioned a centralized platform where landlords could list their properties with precise geographical and physical details, and operators could review, validate, and approve sites through a structured process. The goal was to reduce dependency on manual communication, improve data accuracy, and accelerate tower deployment timelines.
The Project
The project focused on building a web-based platform that bridges the gap between landlords and telecom operators. Landlords can list properties by submitting detailed site information, including geographic coordinates, elevation, and height specifications.
Operators can then visit listed sites, conduct physical verification, and approve or reject locations based on predefined criteria. Approved sites move forward for tower installation, while maintaining a complete audit trail of site evaluations and decisions.
Key deliverables included:
- Landlord-facing property listing and management module
- Operator site review and approval workflows
- Interactive map-based site visualization
- Capture and storage of latitude, longitude, elevation, and height data
- Role-based access for landlords, operators, and administrators
- Centralized repository for site records and evaluation history
The Approach
Xotiv adopted a workflow-driven and geospatial-first approach to ensure accuracy, usability, and operational efficiency.
The team focused on simplifying data entry for landlords while providing operators with the tools needed for on-ground verification and informed approvals. The system architecture was designed to support future enhancements such as analytics, reporting, and integration with external mapping or telecom systems.
The process included:
- Stakeholder discussions and requirement mapping
- UX/UI design for location and form-driven workflows
- Frontend development for map visualization and data capture
- Backend API development for site management and approvals
- Data validation, testing, and quality assurance
- Secure deployment and performance optimization
The Impact
The platform significantly streamlined the site identification and approval process by replacing manual coordination with a structured digital workflow. Landlords gained a simple way to list and track their properties, while operators benefited from improved visibility, accurate site data, and faster approvals.
By delivering a scalable and intuitive site management solution, Xotiv helped the client reduce site evaluation time, improve decision accuracy, and accelerate tower deployment—laying a strong foundation for future growth in telecom infrastructure planning.
